Why is eBay such a good option to make money ? Consider the facts :

The bottom line is this:

When you sell products on eBay, you get instant access to a HUGE group of people who are already sitting in front of their computers... with their wallets open and their credit cards in hand.

But as incredible as these facts seem, there's actually something even MORE amazing that happens on eBay... and it's going on every single day!

I'm talking about "regular people" -- people just like you -- who are making full time income from selling ordinary, everyday items... usually from the comfort of their own kitchen tables or spare bedrooms.

There are people who makes lots of money selling handphones, accessories, watches... others are making their fortunes selling picture frames... still others are raking in the cash by selling guitar strings. Women's shoes. Used DVDs. Portable cookers.

The list goes on and on!

And I'm *not* talking about people making a few extra dollars either...

I'm talking about people who have "cornered" a particular niche market on eBay -- and are making hundreds of thousands (and often millions) of dollars per year.

I should mention that one of the BEST things about making money on eBay is that you don't need ANY experience designing websites... you don't need to know anything about HTML... you don't even need to spend a single penny to list your first auction.

So, it's only natural that a lot of people *TRY* to sell something online and *TRY* to make some money. But the cold hard facts is that only less than 4% of the sellers on eBay are POWERSELLERS, and they generate more than 80% of the sales on eBay. The balance of less than 20% sales is shared by more than 96% of the sellers. Anyone can *TRY* to sell on eBay but most of them don't make any income worth mentioning. Why is that so?

Because, just by listing your products on eBay doesn't mean that it will sell automatically. In order to sell effectively, you need to know precisely

• how to find products to sell
• how to price your products
• how to list your products so that people can find you
• how to list products so that people will click and look at your listing
• how to get the person to bid on your product
• how to make it easy for the buyer to pay you
• how to deliver the product and conclude the sale
• how to automate the entire process so that it can run automatically

These are the things that a POWERSELLER does everyday (and closely guarded) that the average Joe knows nothing about. The average Joe only lists his products and *HOPE* that someone will bid on it. The difference shows up in the amount of money they make:

The average Joe makes less than RM100 a month
The POWERSELLER makes more than RM5,000 a month (usually much much more)

and both of them could even be selling the same thing. So, it's not WHAT you sell, but HOW you sell it. I can assure you it's not rocket science as it is quite simple (once you understand it) but the main difference is in the details ....between just roughly knowing it and knowing it precisely. It's not what you do but how well you do it. If you know how it's done, it's quite simple but when you don't know how, it's like a very frustrating maze.

If there's one person who is qualified to show you how to make money on eBay, it's got to be TS Chan. So I can understand his reluctance.

2. Mr T, 42, ex-manager, currently taxi driver. He was laid off from his job in a factory when it was closed down. Factory shifted to China due to cheaper manpower. Several factories in the same Industrial Zone had also closed down in the last one year. Tried many months to look for jobs but there is no opening for similar position. Meanwhile, to survive, he borrows his uncle's taxi and drive the night shift. He makes just enough to survive. He cannot see a future for himself. Starting his own business on eBay allows him to utilise his free time during the day and to reclaim his life back.
   
   
3. En Z, 45, clerk in government dept, father of 6 children, monthly income less than RM1K. He finds it difficult to make ends meet since the wife does not work in order to take care of their children. Tried many multi level marketing companies before, but didn't make money and instead spent money to buy products he didn't need. Had a good friend who produced some batik paintings in his cottage near his house. Found out there's a good market for such products overseas through eBay.
   
   
4. Mr A, 27, self employed. Lives in a nice condo in Kelana Jaya. Dabbled in eBay since college days because of his passion for figurines and collectibles. Imported his own stuff, value add and sold it for 5 times it's original price on eBay. Never ever had a job since finishing college. Don't need to. He's the boss of his own little company. Just bought a brand new car too.
   
   
5. Mrs J, 58, retired government servant staying in Rawang. Monthly pension is only several hundred ringgit. First and second son didn't go to college because she couldn't afford the fees. One is a waiter and another works in a snooker joint. She hopes the third daughter will have a chance to go to college but with her current pension, it seems unlikely too. Making a decent income on eBay will see her daughter thru college and eventually get a decent job and future.
   
   
6. Mr W, 45, factory owner, produces musical instrument. Don't have enough demand in Malaysia, so had to look overseas. First stop to eBay and he managed to recruit many resellers who sell on his behalf but he ships directly to customers. Also sells directly to individual customers as well as wholesale to dealers overseas. Practically saved his factory from closing down.
   
   
7. Mr L, 25, unemployed. Stays in Singapore. Walks out of his house everyday, cross the street to pick up some leaves on the ground. Put them in a clear plastic bag, photograph them and put them on eBay to sell. The leaves are used to maintain the pH balance in aquariums and enhances the colour of tropical fishes. Makes very good income on eBay and prefers to stay unemployed.
   

These are regular folks who have found a way to make a full time living or to supplement their current income by selling things on eBay. They couldn't start conventional businesses because of a lack of capital and experience. And so they have decided to try something small which eventually became a stable income. Of course they make some mistakes in the beginning but it only made them wiser.

Perhaps it's your turn now. Perhaps you can do with another RM5,000 to RM10,000 every month by working on it one hour or two a day. It's not a matter of whether you can or not, it's whether you want to or not.
